Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website to learn more about the current legislative session and my role as State Representative. I am a proud Colorado native, having grown up in Jefferson County, and I purchased a home here in Lakewood seven years ago. Even though my childhood was challenging, I was able to overcome these obstacles through hard work and determination to set a good example for my younger brothers – putting myself through college and becoming the first in my family to graduate. I know first-hand the value of personal responsibility and public education.
I ran for office because deep cuts to our schools here in Jefferson County are threatening the future for our kids. I am fighting to re-hire teachers, make class sizes smaller and provide students with the same opportunities I’ve had to make a better life.
I will fight to ensure that we invest in infrastructure and education so that everyone gets a fair shot.
I value common sense solutions and am committed to working across the aisle. I believe in a state government that encourages confidence and investment from businesses to get Colorado back to work.
